COACH RASMUSSEN ON THE MEET
"They're looking good and have bounced back from the Big Ten Championships. They're ready to go out there and show who they are as a team. We're a team that if we can have everyone show up on the same day, can be really good. We have done that in the past but we need to make sure we can get the top five individuals together and be in the top four to five as a team in the regional meet. If everyone runs to their potential, we will be successful."
The NCAA Midwest Regional field consists of teams from the states of Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska, Kansas and Oklahoma. Iowa State is No. 1 in the region seeks to claim the crown after winning last year's NCAA Midwest Regionals.
