    USTFCCCA Complete All-Academic Release

    CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The Illinois women's cross country team was honored as a U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic team for the 2010 season, receiving the honor for the fourth consecutive year.

    The Orange and Blue compiled a cumulative team GPA of 3.27 to receive the accolade. To be eligible to be an All-Academic Team, a team must have a minimum team cumulative GPA of 3.00 and have started at least five runners at their respective NCAA regional championship.

    A total of 192 institutions representing 30 conferences composed the list of teams recognized. The Big East led all conferences with 12 members earning All-Academic honors and was followed by the Big 12 with 11 and the Big Ten with 10 on the list.
