Field events will begin at 9 a.m., with the first session of running events scheduled for a 10 a.m. start. After winning the 400m title at last weekend's Illini Open, Ahlivia Spencer will compete in the 600m run for the first time this season. Competing in the 400m will be Amanda Duvendack, who clocked a personal-best to win the 600m race last weekend at the Illini Open, and Asia Thomas, who was a member of last year's 4x400m relay team that won the Big Ten Indoor Championships. Also running in the 400m will be Jesica Ejesieme, who will make her season debut on Saturday.

Kawanna Brooks will compete in the 60m dash and 60m hurdles after winning both events at the Illini Open last weekend. In the 60m, Brooks will be joined by teammate Kymbriona Taylor, who placed third in the event last weekend.

Alyssa Schneider looks to win the mile run for the second straight week, and will run alongside teammate Courtney Ackerman, who won the 3,000m run at the Illini Open. In the field events, Illini Open champion Kandie Bloch-Jones will compete in the high jump, while Kristen Wilson and Mariah Smith will represent the Illini in the throwing events.

Next weekend, the Illini will travel to Lexington, Ky. for the Rod McCravy Memorial on Jan. 24-25.
