Former Illini wins the discus title in Kingston
Illinois Highlights:
Track 2001
Earned all-America honors after placing fifth in the discus at the NCAA Outdoor Championships ... Won the Big Ten Championships in the discus, with a toss of 18000.00 ... Set the school record in the discus at the Illinois Twilight (5/11/01) with a toss of 18906... Indoor - Set a personal-best in the shot put with a toss of 4611.50 to finish fourth at the Illinois Womens Invite ... Had a season-best third-place finish at the Fred Wilt Invite (2/17/01) in the shot put ... Finished 13th at the Big Ten Championships in the shot put with a throw of 4407.50.

Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the discus after recording
the second-best discus throw in school history (175 feet, 7 inches) *
Placed third in the discus at the Big Ten Championships * Finished 21st at
the NCAA Championships in the discus * Also competed in the shot put for
the Illini * Competed in the discus at the 2000 U.S. Olympic Trials.
