    Jackie Kropp is in her third season with the Fighting Illini women's track and field and cross country programs as a volunteer assistant coach. Last track season, Kropp assisted the distance squad which saw Angela Bizzarri win her third national title with a victory in the indoor 3,000m.

    In the fall of 2009, Kropp helped the cross country team to a 12th-place finish at the NCAA Championships along with runner-up finishes at the NCAA Midwest Regional and the Big Ten Championships. Along with the team success, Kropp also assisted Bizzarri in becoming the first women's cross country national champion in school history.

    During the 2008 cross country season, Kropp helped the Illini garner a second-place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional and a top-10 finish at the NCAA Championships, where two runners earned All-America accolades.

    She spent the 2007-08 season as a volunteer assistant coach at Louisville with the men's and women's cross country and track and field teams, helping the Cardinals win Big East conference titles in men's cross country and women's outdoor track and field.

    Kropp was a student-athlete in both cross country and track and field at the University of Chicago, where she earned All-Conference and All-Academic honors throughout her four-year career. She was an All-American as a member of the University of Chicago distance medley relay, also helping the Maroons to a 19th-place finish at the 2007 NCAA Division III Cross Couuntry Championships.

    A native of Stevens Point, Wis., Kropp graduated from the University of Chicago in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in biological sciences. She is certified as a USA Track and Field Level 2 coach and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Kropp also works in Champaign as a personal trainer at the Mettler Center.

    A native of Stevens Point, Wis., Kropp graduated from the University of Chicago in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in biological sciences. She is certified as a USA Track and Field Level II coach and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Kropp also works in Champaign as a personal trainer at the Mettler Center and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Sport Management.
