Two future Illini have been named to the Sports Imports Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 for the Class of 2009. Outside hitter Jessica Jendryk from Benet Academy and middle blocker Erin Johnson from Crystal Lake South received the accolades and will be featured in the upcoming issue of Volleyball Magazine .

Jendryk, who also competed for the Sports Performance club team, earned all-state recognition from the both the Chicago Sun-Times and Champaign News-Gazette . She led Benet with 109 blocks and 266 kills for a team that finished second in the state in Class 4A.

After setting a CLS school record for hitting efficiency for a middle hitter (53 percent), she garnered Chicago Tribune and Champaign News-Gazette All-State accolades.
