Player of the Year by the Naperville Sun and to the DuPage Daily Herald and Chicago Sun-Times All-Area teams. The Huskies won the regional and sectional tournaments before falling to Downers Grove South in the Supersectional in an exciting three-game match The Huskies' season also included winning the Lake Park Invite and placing third at the West Aurora Invite, both events where Bazzetta was named to the All-Tournament Team. Sister, Kathleen, was a four-year regular at defensive specialist, following aunts Kathleen and Eileen Gartland, who played volleyball for the Illini in the 1970s Parents Bob and Mary Jean Bazzetta and several family members also attended Illinois. Member of National Honor Society PE Leader First Class Leader.
