Honorable mention AVCA All-Mideast Region • Florida All-Tournament Team • Led the Illini in kills with an average of 3.13 kpg • Led the team and ranked sixth in the Big Ten with a hitting percentage of .324 • Also led the Illini and ranked 10th in the league in blocking average with 1.15 bpg • Second on the team with 28 service aces • Hit a career-high .789 vs. Arkansas State (Sept. 13), tallying 16 kills with just one error in 19 swings • Had a season-high 20 kills at Michigan State (Oct. 26) • Served up a career-high six aces in victory at Minnesota (Oct. 12) • Finished in double figures in kills in 15 matches • Preseason All-Big Ten selection • Academic All-Big Ten • George Huff Award winner • Earned third Varsity "I" award • Participated in USA Volleyball's National A2 program during the summer prior to the 2002 season. Argabright was on the Phase II roster, which consisted of 12 players who trained at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs from July 14-23 and competed in the college division of the Salt Lake City VolleyClassic from July 23-28.

All-Big Ten selection • AVCA All-Mideast Region selection • George Mason Patriot Invitational MVP • State Farm Illini Classic All-Tournament Team • Finalist for UI Dike Eddleman Female Athlete of the Year • Started all 30 matches at middle blocker • Led the team and ranked ninth in the Big Ten in kills with 3.67 kills per game • Also led the team and ranked fourth in the conference in blocking with 1.35 blocks per game • Ranked second on the team and seventh in the Big Ten in attack percentage for the season at .349 • Led the team and was fifth in the league in attack percentage during Big Ten play at .360 • Hit a season-high .750 vs. Iowa on Oct. 27, registering 15 kills and 0 errors in 20 swings • Tallied a career-high 28 kills in NCAA Tournament First Round victory over Missouri • Recorded the first double-double of her career at Indiana (Nov. 14) with 20 kills and a career-high 11 blocks • Finished in double figures in kills in 23 matches • Tallied 20 or more kills in four of the final six matches of the season • Academic All-Big Ten • Earned second Varsity "I" award.
2000:
Played in 16 matches, including 12 Big Ten contests • Enjoyed her best performance of the season against Minnesota on Nov. 10, tallying season highs of 12 kills, 20 attempts and a hitting percentage of .500 • Hit .308 while recording four kills against Michigan on Sept. 29 • Also had season highs of four block assists and five total blocks against Michigan • Earned first Varsity "I" award.
1999:
Redshirted season • Practiced and traveled with the team but did not compete in any matches.
High School
Earned four varsity letters at Sacred Heart: three in volleyball and one in basketball • Hit .514 as a senior with 212 kills and 30 errors in 354 attempts • Also collected 78 solo blocks and 88 block assists • A 1998 first-team all-state selection and 1997 and 1998 all-conference and all-region pick • Led her high school team to state semifinals in 1997 and state quarterfinals in 1998 • AAU team finished first in the nation in 1997 and second in 1998.
Personal
Parents are Daniel and Susan Argabright • Majoring in sport management • Father played varsity basketball at Eastern Kentucky University from 1969-1973 • Lists favorite athlete as Gabrielle Reece because, "She stands tall and proud and works hard for her dreams and goals" • Plans to pursue volleyball after graduation • Lists Debbie Mackey as the biggest influence on her athletic career because she "was the first to believe in me."
