Dennis Nevolo, Melissa Kopinski earn MVP honors

Redshirt Senior 2011-12
Second-team All-Big Ten ... Ranked second on the team with 20 doubles victories and a team-high 15-4 mark when paired with Melissa Kopinski, playing mostly No. 1 doubles ... Ended the season ranked 42nd nationally alongside Kopinski ... Matched a career-high 17 singles wins, playing primarily at Nos. 1 and 3 ... Received the Midwest Region Arthur Ashe Leadership and Sportsmanship Award ... Finished the season ranked 13th regionally in singles ... Won the team's Strength and Conditioning Award as voted on by teammates.

Went 6-2 in singles and doubles before redshirting the remainder of the season due to injury.
