Took on role of a team leader during her second season, posting a 22-12 overall singles record and a 7-3 record in conference play ... Went 16-18 in doubles with two partners ... Teamed with Leigh Finnegan to produce her best results in overall play with a 12-13 record ... Partnered with Shivani Davé in Big Ten play resulting in a record of 4-5 at No. 1 doubles ... Voted the Advantage Illinois Most Valuable Player for the second year in a row by her teammates ... Unanimous first-team All-Big Ten selection ... Freshman 2006-07
A team leader as a freshman standout for the Illini, posting a team-best 22-14 overall record and 4-6 in the Big Ten, while playing at No. 1 singles ... Started off the year with a 14-4 record in the fall, including a 10-match win streak from Oct. 6-23 ... Finished 7-4 in doubles competitions with partner Leigh Finnegan ... After Finnegan's injury, her best performances came with Emily Wang, charting a 4-9 ledger in dual action at No. 1 doubles ... Carded an overall record of 12-16 in doubles contests, including 3-7 in league affairs ... Opened the spring ranked No. 10 in the Midwest Region ... Suffered an ankle injury that sidelined her for three key duals against nationally-ranked William & Mary and Georgia Tech and cross-state foe Illinois-Chicago ... Reached the singles and doubles finals of the Midwest Blast ... Reached the semifinals of the 2006 Midwest Regionals, going 7-1 at the event and became the only player in the field to have advanced out of the qualifying bracket into the semifinals ...
