    AT ILLINOIS...

    2002-03:

    • Teamed with sophomore Leila Cehajic and captured the doubles title at the Notre Dame summer tournament

    2001-02:

    • Acted as team co-captain along with fellow junior Michelle Webb
    • Underwent shoulder surgery in August, 2001; she is expected to redshirt this season
    • Began the spring season with at No. 6 singles, and as she continued her recovery she moved up, also competing at Nos. 3, 4 and 5
    • Led the team in winning percentage at .700 and finished with a 14-6 record in singles
    • Had winning streaks of 5 and 6 matches
    • Put together 3-6 overall doubles mark, while going 3-4 in Big Ten competition
    • Named team’s Fighting Illini Spirit Award winner along with Liz Fraker
    • Earned George Huff award for excellence in athletics and academics
    • Academic All-Big Ten honoree

    2000-01:

    • She and Webb represented the Fighting Illini, along with Brian Wilson and Amer Delic of the UI men’s team, at the World Team Tennis National Collegiate Championships at Stanford in early October
    • Played mostly at No. 2 singles, putting together a 20-23 season record
    • Her best singles victory was a 6-4, 6-4 decision over No. 53 Lia Jackson of Northwestern
    • In doubles, she played predominantly at the No. 2 spot and had a 26-10 slate
    • Went undefeated (13-0) in Big Ten doubles matches playing with Jennifer McGaffigan and with Michelle Webb
    • She and Jennifer McGaffigan put together a nine-match doubles winning streak near the end of the season

    1999-2000:

    • Played exclusively No. 1 and No. 2 singles as a freshman, registering an 18-22 record
    • Advanced to the semifinals of the Midwest Blast tournament
    • Put together a 10-9 doubles mark; played with six different doubles partners

    PREPS/JUNIORS:

    • Did not play high school tennis
    • Ranked among the top 20 junior players in Yugoslavia
    • Became a top-10 junior player and rated among the top 100 at the senior level in Germany

    PERSONAL:

    • Parents are Reuf and Dina Fazlic
    • Born in Bosnia and lived there until age 10, then lived in Germany for eight years before immigrating to U.S.
