2003-04 - Set the top time on the team in the 200, 400 IM and 200 fly ... Was a NCAA "B" provisional qualifier in the 200 IM with a time of 2:03.87 ... Was a member of the 800 free relay that set a school record with a time of 7:21.84 at the Big Ten Championships ... Placed in the top five for team times in seven other individual events ... Was part of four of the five top relay teams among Illini ... Competed in the 200, 400 IM and 200 fly at the Big Ten Championships ... Won her first five events of the year ... Won the 100 fly and 200 IM against Ohio State and Iowa ... Finished third in both the 1000 free and 400 IM at the Big Ten Quad meet.

2002-03 - Set the top time on the team in the 200 butterfly and placed in the top 5 for team times in six other events ... Competed in the 200 IM, 100 fly, and 100 free at the Big Ten Championships ... Won her first six events of the season, the 400 IM and 100 breast against Illinois State and the 200, 500 free, the 200 IM against Michigan State, Missouri, and Southern Illinois, and the 200 free against Indiana ... Placed first in the 200, 1000 free, and 200 fly at Oakland ... Took first in the 500 free at the Northwestern Invitational ... Finished first in the 200 IM at the Miami (Ohio) Invitational ... Finished second in the 100, 200 fly, and fourth in the 200 IM in the dual meet against Ohio State and Iowa ... Member of 200 medley relay team who finished second all-time this season in the Illini record books with a 1:43.64 time set at Big Tens ... 2001-02 - One of the most versatile athletes on the team, competing in both distance freestyle events and IM's ... Competed in the 200 IM, 200 free and 1650 free at the NCAA Championships but failed to advance out of the preliminary rounds ... Met three "B" standards at Big Tens, including a third place finish in the 200 IM with a time of 2:01.71, a new Illinois school record, a mark of 1:49.83 in the 200 free finals and a new Illinois record in the 1650 free in a time of 16:36.37 ... McAdam was a part of six of the team's 13 records set at the Big Ten meet ... Was a member of three of the five school record-setting relays at Big Tens, including: 400 medley, 400 free and 800 free ... Ranked among Illinois' top five in the 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000 and 1650 freestyles along with the 10 and 200 breaststroke, 100 and 200 butterfly and 200 and 400 IM ... Won 1000 free and 200 fly at Northern Illinois double dual ... Finished second in the 200 IM at the Illini Fall Classic ... Won 1650 free at California Irvine Invite ... 2000-01 - Freshman sprang onto the scene for Illinois, posting the team's top times in the 100 free and 100 fly while posting the second-best times in the 200 and 400 IM's ... Qualified for the U.S. Spring Nationals in the 200 IM and placed 47th in a time of 2:28.30 ... Also swam the 100 fly at Nationals and placed 53rd with a time of 1:05.24 ... Swam a 1:00.46 in the prelims of the 100 free at the Spring Nationals but failed to advance out of qualifying ... Placed eighth in the 200 IM at the Big Ten Championships and 16th in the 100 fly ... Won the 500 free and the 400 IM in a dual at Indiana ... Won the 200 IM at the Rice Invitational.

Medalled in every event she competed in at the state meets in both swimming and track ... 1999 Junior National record holder in the 200 IM ... 1998 National High School honorable mention All-American ... Personal - Daughter of Joseph and Karla McAdam ... Uncle Bob McAdam was a three-time Olympic Trials qualifier in the 100 breast and one of only two males in IHSA history to win the same event four consecutive years ... Uncle Sam McAdam was captain of the 1987 National Champion Stanford swimming team, and he holds the world record in the short course 200 IM ... Hobbies include art, photography and reading ... Lists her biggest thrill in sports as winning the 200 IM at Junior Nationals ... Her favorite athlete, Anne Kampfe, most influenced her athletic career because she won with class and lost with dignity and Crystal wants to experience the same type of success ... Plans to major in journalism.
