1999-00: Team captain * Paced the Illini with a 1:03.88 in the 100 breaststroke, which met the NCAA provisional qualifying standard * Swam her personal best time in the 100 breast at the U.S. Olympic Trials * Won the 100 and 200 breast at the Illini Invite and against Oakland * Won the 100 breast at the Dual Meet Extravaganza * Took first place in the 100 breast against Florida * Earned Academic All-Big Ten honors and was a George Huff Award winner.
