URBANA, Ill. Illinois' softball game against Heartland scheduled for tonight at Eichelberger Field has been cancelled due to rain. The game will not be made up. This is the second time this fall the match-up has been rained out, as Illinois was originally scheduled to host Heartland on Sept. 25.

The Orange and Blue will close out their fall season this weekend in traveling to Normal, Ill. for the State Farm Illinois Collegiate Championship on Saturday, Oct. 3 and Sunday, Oct. 4. The Illini will play two games on Saturday, facing Northern Illinois at noon and Illinois State at 5 p.m.
