    Illinois-Missouri Game Halted Due to Weather

    COLUMBIA, Mo. - Due to severe storms in the Columbia area, the NCAA Regional game between Illinois and Missouri has been halted. Play will resume on Saturday at 11 a.m.

    The Illini will have a 1-0 lead when action begins again tomorrow. Rightfielder Hope Howell knocked a slow roller in front of the plate and beat out the throw for a single. Howell advanced to second on a passed ball then scored when leftfielder Hollie Pinchback singled down the leftfield line.

    The Orange and Blue will resume play with runners at first and second with two outs and catcher Lana Armstrong at the plate and a 1-1 count.
