Monticello Day set for April 14 at Eichelberger Field
March 21, 2007
Urbana, Ill. - Illinois softball has declared Saturday, April 14 as Monticello Day at the ballpark. Residents of the Sage City have the opportunity to purchase special $2 tickets for the Illini's noon game with Michigan State. Tickets will be available at the Monticello Chamber of Commerce at the Old Wabash Deport starting Friday (March 23).

Lawhead played on Monticello's most successful team, which was ranked second in the state, in 2003.
