"My parents, not once did they push me to do something I didn't want to do but they were always the first people to help when help was needed. They have been my mentors throughout the years and have never given up on me, which inspires me to continue on." ... Favorite Athletic Teams: "Chicago Cubs, Bulls and Blackhawks. All Chicago teams except for the White Sox!" ... Favorite Pre-Game Meal: Pasta from Olive Garden ... On Choosing Illinois: "I chose the University of Illinois because as soon as I stepped foot onto the campus I had a great feeling and I have always been one to trust my gut feeling. The campus is beautiful, there are so many different groups to get involved in and people to meet. I really enjoy the 'campus town' feeling, and how everyone is wrapped up in the sports." ...
