2013 - Junior:Big Ten Sportsmanship Award ... Academic All-Big Ten... Made 39 appearances as a junior, starting 34 games ... Earned the starting catcher position on March 30 against Nebraska, starting behind the plate for 20 of the final 23 games of the season ... Hit .235 on the year with 19 hits, two doubles, 12 walks, 12 RBI and five runs in 81 at-bats ... Threw out seven of 37 runners attempting to steal off her ... Made just one error in 143 chances to earn the fifth-best single-season fielding percentage in Illini history (.993) ...Had an RBI single against Drake ...Went 2-for-3 with a run and two RBI vs. Green Bay, and threw out a runner at second ... Had an RBI single and scored in the Illini's 4-1 victory over DePaul ... Hit a two-out, two-run double against Houston on Feb. 17 to put Illinois on top, 4-3 ... Had one of the Illini's four hits against No. 22 Washington ... Went 2-for-2 with a run against Providence, and threw out the leadoff batter stealing third in the top of the first ... Went 2-for-3 in the Illini's victory over No. 24 Nebraska, and threw out both runners who attempted to steal off her on the weekend ... 1-for-2 with a walk and a run in the Illini's 8-0 victory over Indiana ... Singled, walked and scored in the first game against Iowa ... Had an RBI in all three games of the Michigan State series, going 3-for-7 with a double, two walks and five RBI ...Registered her first career stolen base on April 28, following Bauch in a double steal ... Laid down the sacrifice bunt that moved the game-winning run into scoring position in the bottom of the seventh vs. Ohio State in the series finale, leading to a walk-off 1-0 victory ... Threw out a Penn State runner in the Big Ten Tournament.
2012 - Sophomore: Big Ten Player of the Week (3/5) ... Academic All-Big Ten...Secured 18 hits, including two doubles and a home run, to go with 14 RBIs, seven walks and five runs scored over 40 appearances - making 26 starts combined between designated player and catcher ... Returned from a broken thumb against South Florida on Feb. 24, singling in her only at bat of the season ... Went 1-for-2 with a run-scoring single against Winthrop on Feb. 25 ... Knocked in a career-high five runs against Florida Atlantic on March 2 on a three-RBI double and two-run single which came in the bottom of the seventh with two outs and tied the contest. Mychko finished the game 3-for-5, her first collegiate three-hit performance ... Hit a two-out solo home run to put Illinois ahead, 7-6, against Florida Atlantic on March 4 as part of a 2-for-4, two-RBI, one run scored performance ... Went 1-for-1 with a pair of walks drawn against Providence on March 16 ... Successfully placed a squeeze bunt down in the fourth inning against Wisconsin in game one on April 15, adding a two-run single in the following frame for three RBIs on the game. Added an RBI-double and a run scored in the second contest of the day ... Totaled a pinch hit RBI-single on May 12 at Northwestern in her final at bat of the season.
2011 - Freshman: Saw time in 14 contests, making four starts as the designated player ... Tallied four hits, all singles, and drew one walk ... Made her first collegiate plate appearance against Baylor on Feb. 11 ... Earned her first collegiate hit, a single, and RBI as a pinch hitter against Temple on March 4 ... Followed her performance against Temple with a 1-for-2 game against Maryland on March 4 ... Tallied a single, her third hit of the season, during the second game of a doubleheader against Indiana on April 28 ... Earned a base knock as a pinch hitter against Northwestern on May 1.
High School: Four-time Fox Valley All-Conference Selection and Daily Herald, Northwest Herald and Courier News All-Area ... Two-time First Team All-State Illinois Coaches Association (2009-10) and Second Team All-State Illinois Coaches Association in 2008 ... 25th all-time in state history in average (.502) ...
