    • Compiled 325 Ks while allowing only 30 BBs and recording a 0.64 ERA for Elk Grove Grenadiers in 2003 • Threw 34 shutouts in 2002-2003 • Pitched a total of 583 innings with 1,065 Ks and 88 BBs in three years for Elk Grove • Named Player of the Year in Daily Herald and Pioneer Press in 2002 & 2003 • Named to All-State second team in 2002 & 2003 • Set Mid-Suburban League record for most strikeouts in conference play in 2003 • Named WGN and Chicago Tribune Athlete of the Month in April 2003 • Led Elk Grove to a regional title in 2003 and made it to the Sweet 16 in 2002. • Coached by Ken Grams at Elk Grove. • Played for Schaumburg Sluggers from 1998-2000 • Sluggers won five tournaments and placed fourth at NSA State. • Played for Illinois Typhoons (coached by Ken Grams) from 2001-03 • Typhoons won seven tournaments, placed second in ASA Metros and 25th at ASA Nationals. • Won four Athlete of the Week honors from the Chicago Tribune.
