Career: In the history of Illinois softball, Hackett ended her career ranking first in slugging percentage (.616), second in home runs (41), walks drawn (99) and putouts (1,138), third for on base percentage (.436), doubles (43) and chances (1,222), fourth in RBIs (153), total bases (345) and double plays turned (36), sixth in batting average (.320) and seventh in fielding percentage (.984).
2012 - Senior: Academic All-Big Ten ... Hit .279 (38-for-136) with 31 RBIs, 15 runs scored, nine home runs and eight doubles ... Slugged .537 while drawing 29 walks and being struck by eight pitches to earn a .434 on base percentage ... Was stellar on defense for the fourth straight season, posting a single-season career-best .987 fielding percentage behind 286 putouts ans 21 assists in 311 chances ... Went 2-for-2 with a three-run homer and a walk against Michigan State on Feb. 11 ... Finished 4-for-9 (.444) at the Texas Invitational, including the game-winning walk-off RBI-single against Pittsburgh and a home run off No. 10 Tennessee's All-American pitcher, Ellen Renfroe, on Feb. 19 ... Had her fifth career four-hit performance against New Mexico State on March 2, totaling three RBIs and a run scored in the contest ... Provided a sixth inning two-out, two-run home run over the left field fence to give the Illini the lead against Chattanooga on March 18, adding a bases-loaded walk in the seventh to tally three RBIs on the day ... Totaled five RBIs on three hits during the three-game series against Minnesota from March 24-25, including an RBI-single in game one and a pair of two-run home runs, one each in games two and three on the weekend ... Knocked her seventh home run of the season, and 39th collegiately, at Iowa on March 31, earning her 143rd career RBI simultaneously, moving her into fourth all-time at Illinois ... Doubled and scored the first run of the contest at Nebraska on April 7 ... Missed the Eastern Illinois game on April 12, the Wisconsin series from April 15-16 and the Western Illinois contest on April 17 due to personal reasons ... Finished the series with Purdue with a .429 batting average (3-for-7) and six RBIs on a two-run homer and a grand slam, scoring a pair of runs and walking four times in the series ... Led Illinois to a 6-5 extra-inning win over No. 18 Southern Illinois on March 6, going a perfect 4-for-4 with a home run and a double ...
