2011 - Junior: NFCA Midwest All-Region Second Team ... Getterman Classic All-Tournament Team ... Academic All-Big Ten ... Played in 48 games on the season, making 47 starts at first base ... Hit .336 with a Big Ten-leading 16 doubles in addition to nine home runs to earn a .643 slugging percentage ... Totaled 45 RBIs, second on the Illini and tied for seventh among all conference players ... Owned a .442 on-base mark, with 47 hits, 25 walks and four hits by pitches on the season ... 2009 - Freshman: Played and started in all 46 games at first base ... Tied for team lead with seven home runs on the season, also totaling eight doubles and 21 RBIs ... Finished year with a fielding percentage of .975 ... Hit safely in five consecutive games from March 6-24 ... Led Illinois to a 6-5 extra-inning win over No. 18 Southern Illinois on March 6, going a perfect 4-for-4 with a home run and a double ... Had three-hit games against Loyola-Chicago on March 24 and Purdue on April 29 ... Hit a three-run double against Northern Illinois on Feb. 21 and a three-run homer against Texas Tech on Feb. 27 ... Hit a grand slam against No. 18 Houston on Feb. 20 to help the Illini to a come-from-behind win ... First career hit came on a home run against James Madison on Feb. 6.
High School: Led team to the 2006 CIF Championship and the semifinals in 2007 ... Broke Santiago's home run record in 2007 with nine long balls while batting .420 ...
