    2004 Highlights:
    • Hit a two-run home run to provide insurance for Illinois' 3-0 win against Boston University.
    • Earned Academic All-Big Ten for second year in a row.
    • Had a big hand in both ties in school history, ironically both against Top Ten teams - drove home tying run with a double off All-American Lindsay Chouinard in 1-1 tie with #6 DePaul in 2003, then drove in both runs in 2-2 tie with #4 Oklahoma in LSU Tiger Classic title game this season.

    2003 Highlights:
    Academic All-Big Ten • Appeared in 17 games, starting seven. • Started five games, from April 27-May 3. • Doubled home the game-tying run in the sixth off of DePaul All-American Lindsay Chouinard. * Had two hits in NCAA Tournament.

    2002 Highlights:
    • Utility player, was the primary catcher for Illinois when Janna Sartini missed 16 games due to injury from March 3-April 5 • Started a total of 18 games at catcher • Batting average rose 57 points from 2001 to .253 • Batted .349 (15 of 43) after April 2 • Was 6-for-11 (.545) with one double and three RBI in three consecutive games vs. Indiana and Indiana State in mid-April.

    2001 Highlights:
    • Started 36 games, one game at third base, 35 at designated player • Hit game-winning home run for the Illini in a nine-inning 2-1 win over Wisconsin on April 20 • Batted 2-for-3 and hit first double as an Illini at IUPU-Indianapolis in a 9-0 win on April 17 • Pinch-hitting with two outs in the top of the seventh, Gronski drove in the tying run that helped the Illini to an eventual 3-1 win over Southern Mississippi and advance to finals of the Winthrop Invitational • Drove in game-winning run in 2-1 victory at Indiana on April 29.

    High School:
    • Batted .372 with 14 doubles and three home runs in 2000 season • 2000 All-Joliet Area First Team • Named to Illinois Coaches Association All-State 1st Team in 1999 • Batted .365 and set IHSA record for doubles with 22 in 1999 • Awarded 1999 all-conference honors from Suburban Prairie Conference • Received co-MVP honors from Joliet Herald-News • Member of 1998 Morris team that reached Elite Eight in state championship • All-conference second team in 1998 • Also lettered in volleyball and basketball • 1999 co-captain and all-conference volleyball player • Played for Cleek Lady Rascals club team 1998, 1999 and 2000 • High school and club coach was Denny Steele.
