    • Broke the school's single-season record for doubles with 19
    • Named NFCA All-Great Lakes Region honors

    • With four RBI vs. Eastern Illinois, broke Illinois' single-season RBI record, now with 55 for the season
    • Led Illinois in batting (.367), RBI (55) and slugging percentage (.741) while ranking third in runs scored (47) and home runs (15)
    • Hit in an Illinois record 18 straight games from March 3-25
    • Had a team-leading 17 multi-hit games.
    • In the Big Ten, ranked second in slugging and RBI, fifth in on-base percentage (.468), tenth in batting avg., fourth in home runs, 7th in runs scored (47) and eighth in walks (27)
    • Nationally ranks 19th in RBI per game (1.0), 32nd in slugging percentage and 40th in home runs per game (0.27).
    • Went 4-for-8 with four walks and a .667 slugging percentage in the first tournament of the year at the Diamond Fun & Sun Classic
    • Hit two home runs and reached base five of six times in victories over Southern Utah and Oklahoma Feb. 16 in Las Vegas
    • Doubled home the go-ahead run off of Amanda Scarbarough to give the Illini a 2-1 lead over No. 4 Texas A&M on March 2. The Aggies rallied to win 6-2
    • Batted .400 with a double, triple, two home runs and nine RBI at Louisville Slugger Desert Classic in Las Vegas
    • Had three doubles and one home run while batting .467 at Texas A&M
    • Batted .653 with two home runs and seven RBI at the Capital Classic • Had a solo homerun in the 7-6 loss to ISU
    • Had a 3-run double against Longwood in the sixth to seal the 6-0 victory
    • Big Ten co-Player of the Week for March 25-31
    • Was 5-13 with 2 HRs, 8 RBI, and a .923 slugging percentage in the Diamond Devil Invitational
    • Had a two-run home run in a six run inning while defeating Purdue 8-0
    • Delivered game-winning two-run double vs. Penn State (April 22) to help Illinois overcome a 5-1 deficit to win 7-5
    • Won the team's Slugger Award
    • Hit a first inning three-run homer in the 5-0 victory over Bradley
    • Had two hits, two runs, and an RBI in the 7-6 loss to Iowa

    • Started 31 games for the Illini at catcher
    • Hit a solo home run against Central Michigan in the USF-Adidas Invitational
    • Had the base hit that led off the seventh inning vs. Penn State. The Illini trailed 5-2 and rallied for a 7-5 victory with five runs in the seventh
    • Was 2-for-2 vs. Michigan State on April 30.

    High School
    • District MVP and All-State selection her senior year
    • Led team to a second-place finish in the Texas state tournament
    • Selected to the TGICA All-Star team
    • Three-time All-District Defensive Player of the Year and named to the All-District Academic team in 2002, 2003 and 2004
    • Earned Garland High School Defensive Player of the Year award her junior year along with being named to Garland's All-City first team two years in a row
    • Batted a team high .375 with 24 RBI her sophomore year that garnered the Garland High Top Hitter Award
    • Two-time nominee of Who's Who in High School Sports.
    • Played for the Tomboys 18U-Gold team that were runners-up at the AFA National Tournament in 2005
    • Played for the Texas Tomboys in 2005, which placed second at the AFA Nationals.

    Dream Date: Sitting in great seats at Ameriquest Field when the Rangers play the Yankees on $1 Decker Hot Dog Night, and I would catch Teixeira's foul ball.
    Memorable Illini Moment... Angelena Mexicano's walk-off home run against Penn State last year.
    What opposing school do you most look forward to competing against? Penn State
    Who introduced you to softball? I think my dad threw some cleats on my feet, a glove on my hand and said let's go.
    Why did you come to Illinois? I wanted to surround myself with a great atmosphere, honorable traditions, solid coaches and a team I can call my family.
