Led the Illini in slugging percentage (.547), runs (37), home runs (8), total bases (93) and walks (21), hitting .347 with a .417 on base percentage, six doubles, two triples and eight stolen bases ... Recorded the most double plays by a second baseman in school history, turning 16, and ranked fourth in the Big Ten with 129 assists ... Batted leadoff in every game for the Illini, hitting .424 in the situation, reaching base as the first batter of the game 20 times, and hitting five leadoff home runs ... Went 1-for-2 with two walks, three runs and three RBI on opening night against UIC, then followed that by hitting 3-for-5 with a double, a stolen base, a run and two RBI in the following game against Loyola ...
