In addition to being named Big Ten Offensive Plpayer of the Week on Monday, Ella Masar has been named to the Soccer Buzz and Soccer America Teams of the Week.

The accolades continue for Illinois junior forward Ella Masar, who was named to the Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week and the Soccer America Team of the Week. Masar scored both the tying and winning goals in Illinois' 3-2 win over then-No. 9 Penn State on Sunday in front of a school-record crowd of 2,667.
The Urbana, Ill., native helped spark the Illini's comeback from a 2-0 deficit when she tied the game at 59:47. She went on to net the go-ahead goal at 83:51 to give Illinois just its second win over Penn State in school history and hand the Nittany Lions their first Big Ten loss since 2003. It was Masar's first two-goal match at Illinois and her third career game-winning goal.
The school-record crowd helped push the Illini into the Big Ten attendance lead, with an average of 1,162 fans in four home matches. The Nittany Lions are in second place in conference attendance with 1,012 fans per match.
Illinois' victory over Penn State vaulted the Orange and Blue to a No. 10 ranking in the NSCAA poll. It is the Illini's second trip into the poll's top 10, the other coming after Illinois swept through the 2003 Big Ten Tournament.
The Orange and Blue return to action on Friday when they host Minnesota at 7 p.m. at Illinois Soccer and Track Stadium. The Illini then face Ohio State at noon on Sunday to wrap up their three-match homestand.
