Pair of Illini Home Games Slated for Big Ten Network

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Two University of Illinois women's soccer home games will appear live on the Big Ten Network during the 2014 season. The Illini's Big Ten home opener against Indiana on Sept. 18 at 2:30 p.m. was selected to air on BTN along with Illinois' contest against Minnesota on Oct. 12, which has been pushed back an hour to a 2 p.m. start.
Illinois is one of three Big Ten schools slated to have multiple home games broadcast by BTN. Nebraska and Michigan State also will have two home games televised, while a total of 11 Big Ten regular season games will be aired. BTN will televise the semifinals and championship game of the Big Ten Tournament, which will be hosted by Purdue.
Two other Illinois home games - vs. Purdue on Sept. 21 (1 p.m.) and vs. Wisconsin on Oct. 31 (7 p.m.) - will be available via BTNPlus on BTN2Go, the new home for Student U production online streaming.
