    Two Illini Soccer Contests To Be Aired On The Big Ten Network

    PARK RIDGE, Ill. - The Big Ten Network announced its fall lineup for women's soccer recently, with the Illini scheduled to appear on the conference network twice during the 2011 regular season. The network will also air seven other Big Ten women's soccer matches, featuring additional members of the 12-team conference, and both semifinal games and the championship round of the 2011 Big Ten Tournament.

    A delayed broadcast of Illinois' Saturday, Oct. 8, contest at Michigan State will air at 5 p.m. CT on Sunday, Oct. 9. Illinois will host Wisconsin on the BTN the following weekend during SoccerFest 2011, with a live broadcast of the Sunday, Oct. 16, contest beginning at approximately 3 p.m. CT.

    The Illini begin their season at home against Gonzaga at 7 p.m. CT on Friday, Aug. 19, before hosting Toledo on Sunday, Aug. 21, at 1 p.m. CT. Admission to all home women's soccer contests is free.
