2006 - Freshman: Played in five matches with one start • Assisted on the game-winning goal in the season-opener against South Carolina • Started against Missouri • Also saw action against Texas A&M, Syracuse and Utah before being sidelined with a stress fracture in her leg.

High School/Club: Member of the Region II ODP pool in 2005 • Led the Illinois state ODP team to Nationals three straight years from 2003-05, including a fourth-place finish in 2004 • Member of Illinois state ODP team from 2003-05 • Named All-State as a forward for Hinsdale Central in 2005 • Also earned Daily Herald All-State, All-Area and All-West Suburban Silver honors in 2005 • Three-time All-Area and All-West Suburban Silver selection.

Personal: Born Jan. 13, 1988 • Daughter of Fred and Kathy Pickard • Has an older sister, Megan, and a younger brother, Fritz • Named to the Dean's List and Honor Roll at Hinsdale Central, as well as the J Kyle Braid • Majoring in speech communication • Plans to be an interior designer or advertiser.

With defensive openings due to graduation, Emily will look to demonstrate those abilities on both sides of the ball and mount a challenge for time as an outside back."
