Rayfield on Knutson: "Laura has played almost everywhere on the field during her time in an Illinois uniform but I think we have carved a role for her this season that is going to play to her strengths and fill a need for the 2010 team. As a defensive center midfielder we are looking for her to use her ability in the air, her work rate, and her extreme competitive spirit to be a ball-winner for us. She will be counted on to assume the roles filled by Jackie Santacaterina - both the tangible ball winning ability and the intangible ability to will her team to compete."
