2005 - Senior: Team Tri-Captain

2004 - Junior: Appeared in three matches at goalkeeper as a reserve • Stepped in against Evansville on 9/5, playing 21 minutes and making one save • An Academic All-Big Ten selection • Recipient of the Jeremy L. Daly Award for excellence at the team's annual awards banquet • Also a Big Ten Sportsmanship award honoree.

2003 - Sophomore: Appeared in two matches during her sophomore campaign • Logged 15 minutes in the net during a 6-0 rout of Ohio on 8/31 and saw action in Illinois' NCAA Tournament loss to Western Michigan • Was an Academic All-Big Ten selection.

2002 - Freshman: Saw action in four matches and started three • Recorded a shutout victory in her first-ever collegiate start, a 1-0 win over George Mason on 9/15 • Also played a full 90-minutes against Dayton and Northwestern, giving up just one goal in each contest and picking up a win versus the Wildcats • Recorded a career-high five saves in both the Dayton and Northwestern matches • Finished the season with a 0.63 goals against average in four matches with one shutout and 14 saves • Was tabbed the squad's "Most Improved Player" by her teammates after the season • Was named the freshman class captain for the 2003 spring season.

High School: Earned All-Mid-Suburban East Conference and All-Area honors in 2001 • Named the All-Area Unsung Hero in 2000 • Received the team's most improved player honors in 2000 as well as being named the team MVP in 2001 • Earned four varsity letters in soccer • High school coach was Laura Vermiglio • Also ran cross-country and played basketball as an underclassman at Buffalo Grove.

Personal: Born on June 21, 1984 • Daughter of Mark and Fran Frank • Has one brother and one sister • Majoring in molecular and cellular biology • Member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and Class Board.

Coach Rayfield on Frank: "For three years, Rachel has been the heart and soul of this team and I expect as a senior that heart will beat even louder and be even stronger, if that is even possible. There is probably not an individual at the university who has more passion for this team and for this program. This year she will take that passion and compete with two other very talented goalkeepers for time in the net. With experience on her side, she will be the leader of that group no matter who wins the starting job."
