Coach Rayfield on Faherty: "After spending last fall watching her team compete, Paula is ready to captain this team to the accomplishments she has dreamed about since she joined this team as a freshman. She brings back to the field a magical ability on the ball, great vision and a tremendous ability to find and deliver the final pass. But her greatest impact will be the experience and leadership she brings to this young team on and off the field. In 2004, in the hotel lobby after the Elite 8 game in California, Paula had a look in her eye I will never forget. That look has never left and neither has the determination to bring this program back to that point and beyond."
