Coach Rayfield on Steigerwald: "Cory has started to carve her own place in the experienced and personality-filled midfield that will be the backbone of our 2009 team. She can be the ball-winning midfielder with her ability to battle in the air and she holds the space in the center of the field with great discipline, but she can also get into the box and be dangerous in the attack. Her quiet consistency is great, but she has also shown that she can step up and dominate when needed which will be often against the challenging slate of opponents we have in 2009."
