    2012 - Redshirt-Junior:Academic All-Big Ten... Wake Forest Invitational All-Tournament Team... Farrell spearheaded the backline and limited the opposition to 1.70 goals per game with 15.8 shots per game... Was part of the defense who's unit was the only group to shutout Penn State, the eventual National runner-up, all season long.

    2011 - Redshirt-Sophomore: Big Ten Distinguished Scholar ... Academic All-Big Ten ... Opened the season starting against Gonzaga, Toledo, Ball State and Louisville ... Missed 11 games on the year due to injury ... Returned against Minnesota, playing 14 minutes in the second half ... Also saw time against Northwestern, Nebraska, Michigan and during the Big Ten Tournament contests against Ohio State, Michigan State and #11 Penn State ... Started in the NCAA Tournament First Round contest against Notre Dame and second round action at #4 Oklahoma State.

    2010 - Redshirt-Freshman: Stepped into a starting role on defense when Kassidy Brown was injured, earning seven starts while seeing time in 16 total contests to total 849 minutes of action ... Played all 94 minutes during the Illini's 2-1 overtime victory against Iowa ... Averaged 85 minutes per game after taking over the starting role on defense ... Served a supporting role before taking over a starting position on the Illini defense responsible for holding opponents to 0.84 goals per game while tallying nine shutouts.
