Hello Illini Fans,
Today is Senior Meet! Wow the time has flown by. I can still remember my very first meet at Huff Hall and I can't believe this is it. Laura, Suki, and I are very excited to show off our favorite leos from freshman year. Tons of parents and alumni are making the trip down to see us for the final home meet against 14th ranked Missouri. I think the senior parents have some surprises planned for us...I wonder what they could be?! This meet is also very exciting because we are hosting the first Gym Jam, with free food for the first 1000 fans. The guy's team and the girl's team get to compete for the first time together in Huff this year. We have so much fun competing at the same time as the men's team because it seems more like practice, and there is so much more energy and support in Huff Hall!
Even though we have been very busy with midterms and getting ready for post season we were able to take time out of our busy schedules to go cook with kids. We spoke with elementary kids about the importance of eating healthy and stretching. It was a lot of fun and we met some really cute kids.
I hope you come out and support us for our last final home meet.
