Illinois Women's Gymnastics at the NCAA Championships

Illini women's gymnastics team competed at the NCAA Championships in Los Angeles, California.

2014 - Sophomore: Competed on vault in every meet except the Big Ten Quad, hitting all 13 of her vaults ... Set a season high 9.8 at the State of Illinois Classic on Feb. 21 ... Hit a 9.7 or higher in five of the last six meets of the season ... Produced a 9.725 at the NCAA Championships ... Academic All-Big Ten.

2013 - Freshman: Competed on vault for all 14 meets where she set a career high of 9.85 at the Big Ten Championships ... Worked her way into the floor lineup, competing in the final nine meets of the season, where she posted a career high of 9.85 ... Performed her beam routine three times, scoring a career best of 9.65 ... Didn't score below a 9.7 during the Illini's postseason run to Nationals ... Hit 24-of-26 routines ... Earned one finish in the Top-5 after scoring a 9.75 on vault at Missouri.

High School/Club: Five-time National qualifier ... Took third on beam in 2012 at Nationals ... Competed at State 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2012 ... Won first on beam and vault and second on bars at State in 2012 ... Took first on vault and second on beam at State in 2010 ... Made high honor roll two times and won student of the month ... Club team was Salto Gymnastics and M&M Gymnastics ... Club coaches were Jim Melcarek and Kristin Kremer.

Personal: Daughter of Dave and Marie Foley ... Father, Dave, played golf at Ole Miss ... Has one brother, Shawn, who plays golf at Northern Illinois University ... Majoring in Communications ... Chose Illinois because, "the campus and the school's traditions as well as the spirit of the students who attend it. I also loved the team and coaches and how they made me feel welcome as soon as I set foot in the gym."
