2014 - Freshman: Second-Team All-Big Ten ... First three-time Big Ten Freshman of the Week in school history ... Competed in all 14 meets on vault and floor and hit all 28 of her routines ... Just missed earning All-American status at the NCAA Championships on floor after scoring a 9.875 (needed a 9.9) ... Ranked 10th on vault in the Big Ten (T-44th nationally) with a 9.880 RQS and 17th on floor (T-64th nationally) with a 9.865 ... Tied for the third most individual titles on the team with four, claiming three on vault and one on floor ... Recorded a career high 9.925 on both events, tying the third highest vault score in school history ... Did not drop below a 9.825 all season on floor and in the final 11 meets on vault.

High School/Club: Four-time USAG Region 7 All-Star team member (2010-13) ... Grandfather Norm Snead played quarterback at Wake Forest and was drafted in the first round of the 1961 NFL draft by the Washington Redskins; played 16 seasons and was named to the Pro Bowl four times ... Chose Illinos because, "Great academics and it's a team on the rise. The team and coaches are great and I wanted to be a part of that."

First impression when you met the team: Very welcoming, fun, and outgoing.

What do you hope to accomplish in your debut season: I just want to help the team continue to achieve in any way I can.

What are you looking forward to experiencing outside of gymnastics: Being a college student and experiencing all that U of I has to offer.

What you hope to learn from your coach/teammates this year: How to balance and succeed at being a student and an athlete; how to become a more complete gymnast.

What class you're excited about taking: I'm excited about meteorology.

What opponent are you most excited to compete against: I have friends on most B1G teams ... Nebraska, Michigan State, Iowa ... I am excited to compete against them all.
