The University of Illinois will host a 2012 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Regional on Saturday, April 7 at 4 p.m. (CT) at the Assembly Hall. The No. 22 Illini, who will host an NCAA Regional for the first time in school history, will welcome No. 2 Oklahoma, No. 11 Stanford, No. 14 Denver, No. 24 Kentucky, UIC and individual competitors to Champaign for the meet. Ticket and event information can be found below along with media credential request procedures.

Ticket and Parking Information
Tickets can be purchased through the UI Athletic Ticket Office by calling 1-866-ILLINI-1. All tickets for the NCAA Regional are general admission. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $6 for students. Free parking will be available in the lots around the Assembly Hall.
Fan Village Information
A "Fan Village," which will feature a sign-making station, temporary tattoos and a balloon artist, will be open to the public on the main level of the Assembly Hall in Room 133/134 when the doors open at 3 p.m.
Practices/Press Availability
Practices are open on Friday, April 6 and media will be permitted on the floor to conduct interviews with the coaches and/or student-athletes AFTER the completion of the practice sessions. Credentialed media may obtain footage for promotional purposes DURING the practice sessions.
Practice Sessions, Friday, April 6:
Session 1: 1:15-3:00 p.m. (Illinois, Oklahoma, Stanford)
Session 2: 4:00-5:45 p.m. (Denver, Kentucky, UIC)
Media Credential Request
Accredited members of the media and photographers can apply for credentials to the 2012 NCAA Regional by contacting sports information director Matt Wille at mjwille2@illinois.edu. Credential requests should be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 5. Credentials may be picked up on Saturday, April 7 at the Media Will Call located at the Northeast Entrance of Assembly Hall beginning at 2:30 p.m.
