CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The University of Illinois women's golf team heads to Kiawah Island, South Carolina this weekend to finish their fall season at the Palmetto Intercollegiate. The two day tournament will begin on Sunday and finish Monday morning, at par 72, 5,972 yard, Turtle Point golf course. 

The Illini will send a team consisting of freshmen Stephanie Miller and Emily Joers, juniors Jacqueline Calamaro and Samantha Postillion and senior Ember Schuldt. So far this fall season, the Illini have played strong in all four of their tournaments, earning team finishes of third, second (two times) and one first place finish at the Diane Thomason Invitational in Iowa City. 

The 19-team field at the Palmetto Intercollegiate features host College of Charleston, Bucknell, Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, Charleston Southern, Eastern Michigan, ETSU, Elon, Georgia State, GRU Augusta, Jacksonville State, James Madison, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri State, USF, Xavier and fellow Big Ten member, Michigan. 

The action kicks off Sunday morning at 7:30 CST with 36 holes of continuous play, followed by the third round Sunday morning at 7:45 CST. Live scoring will be provided on golfstat.com.
