CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The Illini women's golf team returns to the Southeastern portion of the country once more to compete in its fourth spring season tournament. This time, Illinois will challenge 18 other teams in the Web.com Intercollegiate hosted at the Marsh Landing Country Club. The par-72, 5,967 yard course is located in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. The tournament will consist of two rounds on Monday, April 7, followed by the final round on April 8.

The tournament marks the largest and one of the most competitive field to date for the Illini, with four teams ranked in the top-50 in the lastest Golfstat.com rankings. In addition, with the Big Ten Championships looming at the end of the month, the Illini will also get at look at conference foes Michigan, Minnesota and No. 24 Ohio State.

Illinois head coach Renee Slone will utilize the same lineup for the second straight tournament, going with the same cour foursome of Sam Postillion, Ember Schuldt, Stephanie Miller and Emily Joers with Michelle Mayer rounding out the lineup.

Schuldt will look to build upon her final round at the last tournament (Briars Creek) where she shot her second round under par this spring. Both Postillion and Miller are averaging a 75-stroke average through three tournaments, with the latter accumulating three rounds under par. Lastly, Joers has shot a 229 (+13) in two of the three spring tournaments.
