Senior Katelin Dilger led the Illini at the Lady Buckeye Invitational.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Illinois women's golf team completed the third and final round of the Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational on Sunday with a 321 (+33), giving the Illini an overall score of 970 (+106) to finish in 11th place. Ohio State (894) took first place, with Michigan State (910) coming in second and Iowa State (921) coming in third.
Individually, senior Katelin Dilger led Illinois, finishing in 37th place after shooting a third round score of 78 (+6), her best round of the tournament. Senior Hailey Koschmann (241) finished one stroke behind Dilger, carding an 80 (+8) in the final round to finish in a tie for 38th place. Sophomore Ember Schuldt (242) finished closely behind, tying for 43rd after posting an 81 (+9) in the third round.
Senior Samantha Sloan (248) ended the tournament tied for 52nd place, shooting an 82 (+10) in the third round. Senior Nora Lucas (252) carded an 86 (+14) in the final round to finish the tournament in a tie for 61st place.
The Illini will be back in action this weekend when they travel to French Lick, Indiana for the 2012 Big Ten Championships on April 27-29.
