    Fall 2002: Competed in the Shootout at The Legends, carding a three-round score of 254.

    2001-02: Competed in four tournaments on the season, earning her second Varsity ?I? letter ? Carded a career-low 54-hole score of 244 at the Lady Northern at Stone Creek ? Shot a season-low round of 77 at the Lady Northern ? Academic All-Big Ten ? Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar.

    2000-01: Competed in four tournaments as a sophomore, one in the fall and three in the spring ? Earned the first Top 10 finish of her career at the Illini Spring Classic, placing seventh with a career-best 36-hole score of 156 ? Shot the lowest round of her career in the first round of the Illini Spring Classic, a 4-over par 76 ? Academic All-Big Ten.

    1999-2000: Participated in seven tournaments on the season to earn her first Varsity ?I? letter ? Recorded a season-best tie for 13th place at the Illini Spring Classic ? Shot her low round of the season, a 78, at Stone Creek Golf Club during the Illini Spring Classic.

    High School: First team All-State and academic All-State her senior year ? Earned first place finishes in five tournaments as a senior ? Her high school team placed among the best in the state all four years with finishes as high as second her sophomore and senior years ? Also played soccer and basketball teams that placed in the state ? Won numerous academic awards including President?s Education Award, top weighted rank award and American History National Award ? Graduated in top one percent of her class ? Member of award-winning show choir.

    Personal: Born Oct. 14, 1980 ? Daughter of David and Betty Walters ? Majoring in elementary education ? Two-time George Huff Award Winner ? Hobbies include song writing, playing the guitar, singing, biking, and basketball ? Enjoys participation with Athletes in Action and Illini Life Christian Fellowship on campus ? Lists her first golf coach, Jim Ponti, as the person who most influenced her career because ?He was a friend and role model.?
