Champaign, Ill. - Tonight marks the opening of the 2009-10 college basketball season. The Illinois programs hope to tip-off the season in front of a capacity crowd at the Assembly Hall, during Illini Madness festivities. Fans unable to attend, however, still have the opportunity to watch all of tonight's basketball action right here, exclusively at fightingillini.com. A video stream of the basketball-only portion of tonight's Spike The Record at Illini Madness is available here for fans who have purchased the Illini All-Access package. Illini All-Access is available through monthly or annual subscriptions. Click here to learn more or subscribe to Illini All-Access.
Due to broadcast restrictions, the video stream will not start until the conclusion of the Illinois-Minnesota volleyball match, which starts at 6:30 pm CT and precedes Illini Basketball Madness. An exact starting time for the basketball events cannot be determined in advance, since the volleyball match could last 3, 4 or 5 sets. Therefore, fans waiting for the video stream of basketball to begin can follow the progress of the volleyball match through the Illinois volleyball radio broadcast, which is also part of the Illini All-Access programming.
