Oct. 1, 2013
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - At least eight and as many as 10 Illinois women's basketball games will be televised in 2013-14. Big Ten Network will carry between seven and nine Illini games, including five in the month of January. Illinois' final two games of the regular season - Feb. 27 at Nebraska and March 2 vs. Iowa - also could be selected by BTN, with those decisions being made in early February.
The Orange and Blue's Big Ten opener against Wisconsin on Friday, Jan. 3, at State Farm Center, will air live on BTN at 7 p.m. CT, as will January home games against Penn State (Jan. 9, 8 p.m.), Nebraska (Jan. 12, 1 p.m.) and Purdue (Jan. 27, 6 p.m.). Illinois' Jan. 18 (11 a.m.) game at Michigan also will air on BTN.
In February, BTN will carry the Illini's Feb. 13 (8 p.m.) game at Iowa and the Feb. 22 (2:30 p.m.) contest at Indiana. In addition, Illinois' non-conference game at Georgia has been changed to a 3 p.m. start and will air on CSS, a regional sports network in the southeastern U.S. that is available only on cable.
