The Big Ten Network has released its 2012-13 women's basketball coverage plans and Illinois is slated to appear 22 times on the BTN platform, including six live appearances on the linear network. The Illini also announced game times for their upcoming season, the first under head coach Matt Bollant, which includes 18 home dates.
Illinois plays at least one game every day of the week, including BTN appearances on Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The Illinois games scheduled for air on the BTN linear network include games on Sunday, Jan. 13 vs. Michigan State (3 p.m.); Monday, Jan. 28 at Minnesota (8 p.m.); Sunday, Feb. 3 at Wisconsin (2 p.m.); Sunday, Feb. 10 vs. Minnesota (1 p.m.); Monday, Feb. 18 vs. Wisconsin (6:30 p.m.) and Saturday, Feb. 23 vs. Indiana (2 p.m.). In addition, Illinois will have 16 games aired live on BTN.com with many of the those games re-airing on the linear network.
The Illini will now open the exhibition season on Tuesday, Oct. 30 vs. Marian College from Indiana and the regular season on Sunday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. vs. Evansville.
Season ticket orders are now being accepted. The cost is $75 for reserved season tickets and $25 for general admission season tickets. Single-game women's basketball tickets go on sale in mid-October and are $5 per ticket.
