Law To Appear at Two Meet and Greet Tour Stops

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - University of Illinois women's basketball coach Jolette Law will be in attendance at two of the four Fighting Illini Meet and Greet Tour stops this summer. Law will join UI football coach Ron Zook and men's basketball coach Bruce Weber on June 4 in Bloomington and June 19 in Peoria.
"I'm looking forward to interacting with our loyal fans on the Meet and Greet Tour," Law said. "One thing I love about this job is being able to get out and hear from our fans that are so passionate about Illinois athletics."
There are four scheduled stops in the University of Illinois' Division of Intercollegiate Athletics second annual Meet and Greet Tour. The schedule includes Chicagoland (Lisle) on May 12, Springfield on May 22, Bloomington on June 4 and Peoria on June 19. Zook is set to attend all four locations, while Weber is scheduled to appear in Lisle, Bloomington and Peoria. Men's basketball assistant coach Jerrance Howard will join Zook and Law at the Springfield event.
A final lineup of other speakers at each venue will be announced at a later date. Fans will have the opportunity to take photos, get autographs and ask direct questions of the coaches at each Meet and Greet location. Team posters, ticket information and schedule cards also will be available at each stop.
All four events are free admission and include complimentary appetizers. All Meet and Greets will begin at 7 p.m. Due to space limitations at each location, fans are encouraged to sign up online as soon as possible.
