CHICAGO - Illinois signee Chatrice White helped the West team to an 80-78 win in the 2014 McDonald's All American Game at the United Center on Wednesday night. The 6-3 center from Shelby, Neb., pulled down nine rebounds and scored six points. She also blocked three shots and had one steal.

For her efforts, White was named the game's best rebounder by espnW. The website also ran a story profiling White and her decision to come to Illinois on Tuesday. And before playing in the game, White also helped raise $7,606 for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
