Well its official ladies and gentlemen, January 27, 2009, marked the death of my car. (Tear Drop) I've had my '95 Toyota Camry since I was a junior in high school and it hurts me deeply to have to let it go like this. I'm going to miss the joys of washing and vacuuming, and the fun road trips that we had along the way. So if anyone is need of any gas money I'm your woman for the job!

On a more positive note, if you Illini fans haven't heard the good news, we had a huge win against first place Indiana on Sunday. It was such an intense game to play in and I'm so proud that we finally played together and got a WIN. It was such great sight to see my teammates and coaches with big smiles on their faces and to hear the locker room filled with roars and chants instead of a room filled with silence. It was a total team effort and everyone stepped up big time and played their roles well. The fans were loud and the bench was crazy. It felt good to be in Assembly Hall. I feel that now more then ever we have bought in to playing as a TEAM and everyone is willing to make any changes in order to get a win, and wins are definitely on the "to do" list.

We have Northwestern on Thursday, and I'm so excited cause its going to be like a home game for me considering that my home town (Waukegan/Zion, Ill.) is not far from Evanston. Last year when we played there I had about 40 people come out to show their support. It's always a good thing to know that people from your town are proud of you and are willing to support you. So in return, I'll try to give them the best performance that I possibly can on and off the court.

We still have one more day of practice before we hit the road to Evanston. Coach Law always says, "your outlook will determine your outcome," so ladies, come prepared to work hard and be focused tomorrow cause its our time shine in 2009!!!!

And to my girl Chelsea, keep your head up! WE GOT YOU!!!!

    Go Illini!
