CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The University of Illinois will be holding its third annual Pack the Hall game this Sunday, Jan. 30, at 2 p.m. when Iowa comes to Assembly Hall. There will be free admission and free parking for all fans, along with ticket giveaways for a pair of exciting upcoming events at Assembly Hall.
Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to win tickets for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus at Assembly Hall March 18-20, 2011, and the E-3 Spark Plugs Monster Truck Nationals presented by Lucas Oil on Feb. 5 at the Hall. There will also be other exciting giveaways, including autographed basketballs, Illini apparel and more!
Illinois will also be celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day at Pack the Hall. Current Fighting Illini female student-athletes will sign autographs in the concourse at halftime, while Coach Law and the women's basketball team will hold a postgame autograph session on the court.
All seating will be general admission with doors opening to general public at 1 p.m. Illinois women's basketball season ticket holders will be allowed to enter Assembly Hall at 12:30 to have first choice of seats.
The first two Pack the Hall events combined to draw over 11,000 fans to Assembly Hall.
