Senior guard Adrienne Godbold scored a team-high 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for her third double-double of the season. She also notched a season-high six steals, one shy of her career-high seven.
Senior forward Karisma Penn moved into third place on the UI career rebounding list, passing Jonelle Polk, Penn had six boards Sunday and now has 938 for her career. Penn also moved up a spot on the career steals list, passing Angelina Williams for seventh place, now with 205. And she moved past Casey Leonhardt for eighth on the single-season blocked shots list with 52. Penn now has four of the top eight entries on that list.
Junior guard Amber Moore continued her hot shooting of late, going 4-of-7 from the field and 2-of-3 from beyond the arc for 14 points. She is now 12-of-21 (.571) from three-point range in the last three games and 16-of-31 (.516) overall.
