GETTING TO KNOW LYDIA
Nickname: Lyd
Why Illinois? I enjoyed my visit, as well as the people I met on it. I also connected with the team well.
Favorite Place On Campus: My favorite place is the Japan House. In front is a beautiful man-made waterfall. Also there is a garden and it's a nice place to sit and relax.
Best Memory As An Illini: This past summer we had a team BBQ. We went skating and seeing everyone trying to dance and skate was the best part.
Favorite Coach Law Story: I love when we're playing defense and Coach Law jumps in the drills to show us what we are doing wrong. She's so quick and it's funny to watch her run all over our practice guys.
What I've Learned From Coach Law: Life isn't `Go hard or go home,' it's `Go hard then go home with a smile.'
Favorite Athlete: LeBron James
Favorite Fighting Illini Athlete: Arrelious Benn (football)
Favorite Sports Team: Cleveland Cavaliers
Favorite Movies: A League of Their Own, Slumdog Millionaire
Favorite TV Show: Any reality show

Something Most People Don't Know About Me: I'm afraid of the dark and I love to color.
My Best Non-Athletic Talent: Making people laugh

Pregame Superstition: Listening to Jay-Z as loud as possible
Three Words That Describe My Play: Big, Strong, Fun
