2002 Highlights: Illinois Team MVP First Team All-Big ten performer, averaged 17.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per contest. Made 68 of 87 free throws during final 23 games of the regular season. Ranked seventh in the nation in field-goal percentage (.611), while leading the Big Ten and setting a new Illinois-single-season record in that category. Had 28 points and nine rebounds at Minnesota. Scored in double figures in 25 of 27 games, leading the Illini offense 14 times. Recorded four double doubles this season. Currently 19th on Illinois career scoring list (891) while ranking seventh in blocked shots (70).
2001 Highlights: Named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team and Honorable Mention All-Big Ten Player of the Game in upset of Auburn, which end the Tigers 55-game home court winning streak In that contest, Marcauskaite scored 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds Scored in double figures in 20 of 33 games, including at least 20 points four times.
High School: Competed last season at the Peddie School in Hightstown, N.J., where she averaged 16.8 points and 9.6 rebounds per game * Peddie finished the season 22-3, winning the Mercer County and New Jersey State prep titles * Graduated from Moorhead (Minn.) H.S. in 1999, where she was an exchange student * Averaged 17.1 points and 8.3 rebounds per game * Led Moorehead to the school's first appearance in the state tournament (finished second in Class 4A) * Native of Lithuania, played for her country's junior national team during the summer of 1998 and scored 15 points in an 80-64 loss to the United States team * Played for Coach Mike Flynn and the Philly Belles at the prestigious NIKE Boo Williams AAU Tournament last spring.

What I worked on in my game during the off-season I played in a lot of different tournaments in Lithuania, Poland, France, and Czech Republic. We won fifth place in the World Championships for Junior Women.
